Return and Refund Policy

Thank You for shopping at AZ Kayaks and Paddleboards.

Overall, We are very generous and fair with Our refunds. We perform at an incredible level of quality and customer service, and currently only have satisfied customers, but in case We do run into a customer that is angry at the level of quality we provide, We are more than willing to work with said customer. If, for any reason, You are not completely satisfied with a purchase or rental We invite You to review our policy on refunds and returns.

The following terms are applicable for any products that You purchased or rented with Us.


Interpretation and Definitions


The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.



For the purposes of this Return and Refund Policy:

  • Company (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to AZ Kayaks and Paddleboards, 1035 N Ellsworth Rd, Mesa, AZ 85207.
  • Goods refer to the items offered for sale on the Service.
  • Orders mean a request by You to purchase or rent Goods from Us.
  • Service refers to the Website.
  • Website refers to AZ KAyaks and Paddleboards, accessible from and
  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Your Order Cancellation Rights

You are entitled to cancel Your Order before Your pickup time without giving any reason for doing so.

The deadline for canceling an Order is 48 hours before the date on which You will receive the Goods or on which a third party You have appointed, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the product delivered.

In order to exercise Your right of cancellation, You must inform Us of Your decision by means of a clear statement. You can inform us of Your decision by:

We do not issue refunds for Orders, so Once You inform us of Your decision You will be given a credit that will be held on Your account so that You are able to use Your Order on any given day with a 24 hours notice by texting or calling the same number listed above. We will do our best to work with You based on availability for the new day You request.


Conditions for Returns

In order for the Goods to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

  • The Goods were purchased in the last 14 days

The following Goods cannot be returned:

  • The supply of Goods that show signs of being opened or used.
  • The supply of Goods that don’t have an original receipt that matches our purchasing system.

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions in our sole discretion.


Returning Goods

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the Goods to Us. You should return the Goods in person at the following address during regular business hours:

You agree that if We suspect for any reason that Our Goods will be lost or stolen, We reserve the right to charge Your card on file. If the Goods are returned in good working order, We will offer a refund of that charged amount, minus the normal rental rate multiplied by the number of days the Goods were unavailable.

Here are the following lost or stolen charges:

  • Double kayak: $600
  • Single kayak or paddle board: $300
  • Kayak carrier: $60
  • Paddle: $40
  • Life jacket: $35
  • Ratchet strap: $10
  • Tie-down strap: $5
  • Safety light: $5
  • Pool noodle: $5

For safety reasons, We are not responsible for assistance in Goods recovery and can decline such requests at any time. If you request for Us to pick up the Goods at a parking lot, and We accept, a $70 charge will be run on the card we have on file.


Group Rental Refund Policy

The following group rentals will have a separate refund policy and will be referred to as “Group Rentals”:

  1. Full Moon Floats
  2. Glow Floats
  3. Paddle Lessons
  4. Friday Floats
  5. Yoga Floats


Group rentals are difficult to coordinate and take lots of workers, scheduling, and customer service leading up to, during, and even after the Group rental and are therefore non-refundable, even if there is rain. However, sometimes weather is unpredictable and can quickly be unsafe for anyone to be out on the water. 

  • If We feel it is unsafe, and You do not wish to attend, You will be permitted to take your rentals out within 12 days free of charge as availability permits. All You need to do is let Us know which day within the allowed timeframe You prefer, and We will work around Our availability to get You back out on the water. Switching dates to a future group rental is not permitted.
  • You will not be allowed to alter the original group rental in any way, and this will not count as a store credit, but rather a 1 item for 1 item postponement.
  • You will be informed of the 12-day expiration date upon acceptance of postponement, and the free rental will no longer be available after the 12 days have passed.
