AZ Kayaks is excited to host the Santa Paddle, a festive holiday event filled with fun, community spirit, and giving back. Whether you’re a seasoned paddler or brand new to the water, this event is for everyone!

🎁 Giving Back

This year, we’re collecting toys to spread holiday cheer to local kids in need. Please bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate. Together, we can make a difference!

📅 Event Schedule

• Rental Pickup: 7:00 AM at our shop (1035 North Ellsworth Rd, Mesa, AZ 85207)

• Meetup at Phon D Sutton: 8:00 AM for pictures

• Launch: 8:15 AM

• Take Out at Granite Reef: 9:30 AM

Free shuttle service provided back to Phon D Sutton.

🚣 Rentals

• Rentals available at regular price.

• All rentals include paddle, life jacket, and transport straps.

• Reserve in advance so your gear is ready.

🧺 What to Bring

• Coast Guard approved PFD (life jacket)

• Water and snacks

• Sun protection and warm layers

• Dry bag or phone case

• Santa hat, holiday attire, or festive colors 🎄

ℹ️ Good to Know

• All paddlers are responsible for their own equipment, food, water, risk, transportation, safety, and parking passes.

• Beginner-friendly pace with a short float window.

• Subject to river flows and weather.

• Parking at Phon D Sutton and Granite Reef may require a day pass
